The Respiration Corporation Announces Plan to Develop Chronic Lung Disease Monitoring and Care Support Service

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Richard Hinds, CEO & President of The Respiration Corporation, announced plans to develop and launch a remote patient monitoring service. According to Hinds,”Over the next twelve months, we will develop and design a new way of supporting patients and their care team’s management of chronic lung disease, and furthermore, do so in a way that is consistent with our mission to create models of care that are minimally disruptive, thoughtful, responsive, and thorough.” Hinds went on to explain that although many external and internal pressures within healthcare are decreasing the amount and quality of time that providers can spend with patients in the office setting, there is a great opportunity to increase support for both patients and their providers in between visits. “I think everyone agrees that chronic lung disease patients shouldn’t walk out the office door and feel that they are now on their own and that providers should not have to wait until the patient’s next appointment to get feedback on how the care plan they developed is working for their patient.”
